The facilities at Dynasty Farms include two barns, a large turnout field, an outdoor riding arena, and a round pen.
Main Barn![]() Our main barn is a well-built farm barn with two sections. The front section contains five 12'x10' box stalls plus feed room, tools space, and stairway to the hayloft. The aisleway has a cement floor and two sets of crossties for cleaning horses. The rear section contains four more box stalls and two large tack storage rooms, with a dirt aisleway and a third set of crossties. There are doors at both end, the large front door and a smaller rear door. Stall floors are elevated above the barn ground level by a couple of inches. This keeps the stalls dry in bad weather. |
Second Barn![]() Our secondary barn is a long shed-type building with a single row of stalls that open to the outside. It contains nine stalls. Three open into the small turnout pen. One is set aside for use as a tack room. The other five are available. |
Turnout Field
All the horses at Dynasty get turned out in the large paddock every day except in bad weather, unless the horse's owner says otherwise. The paddock is about four acres in size, plenty of room for the horses to play and run as much as they like. |
|
In spring, summer, and fall, the lower part of the paddock has some grass for grazing. An automatic waterer is located just inside the fence near the gate. The paddock has a single low-power electric fence wire to supplement the white board fence. |
|
Riding Arena![]() The outdoor riding arena is 120' by 90', with a mounting block and a small shed. There's enough room to ride, or longe your horse, or even work over a few small jumps. |
Round Pen![]() Near the riding arena is a round pen made of metal fence sections. The pen is 60' in diameter, which makes it suitable for beginner riding lessons and free-longeing. |
The barns, paddocks, and riding arena are all around the outside of the Dynasty Farms property. The central area is a large grassy field suitable for almost any kind of riding, including schooling over small jumps. Part of this field is a shallow hillside, giving riders a chance to practice riding up, down, or across a slope.
